Tournament Rules and scoring!

Rules are the same as all of our trivia shows - no phones allowed (except when the host says so)! 

Maximum of SIX players per team.  If you have more than six players, please split yourselves into two separate teams! 

Scoring is as follows: 
1st place: 35 points
2nd place: 34 points
3rd place: 33 points
etc.

Bonus: 
1 bonus point for each team beaten. EG: 
If there are six (6) teams, the winning team (1st place would receive five (5) bonus points for beating the other five teams. 
2nd place would receive four (4) bonus points for beating the remaining four teams and so forth. 

In case of a tie, the teams tied will get the same number of points and bonuses based on the teams they BOTH have beaten. EG:
If there are six teams and 2nd place is a tie, each of the teams would receive 34 points, and would receive THREE bonus points as there are three teams remaining that they both beat. 

Scores will be posted by PowerPoint prior to each week's game to show the standings.
